Major UT artery closed

Construction crews rebuild the David Leigh Root Bridge, which carries Stadium Drive over the Ottawa River on the University of Toledo campus. The bridge, which was built in 1961, closed March 7. Officials said the replacement bridge is scheduled to open in August.
