Lucille I. Laskey, elected as a Sylvania Township trustee in 1969, when few women held office, and who over the next quarter-century was known in Lucas County and the region for her staunch defense of the township, died Tuesday in the Grove at Oakleaf Village in Sylvania Township. She was 98.
