Lucas County air quality receives D grade

Near-record warmth in 2016 worsened ozone pollution across the United States and throughout Ohio, including in Toledo where air quality suffered enough to cause Lucas County’s rolling three-year “grade” to drop from a C to a D, according to an annual report by the American Lung Association.
