Losses put Sears, Kmart future in doubt

Sears and Kmart, two struggling retailers that combined have 12 stores in northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan, faced an even shakier future Wednesday, a day after their parent firm said in a regulatory report that “substantial doubt” exists whether the two venerable chains can survive.
