Longtime U.S. representative Mike Oxley dies

Former U.S. Rep. Mike Oxley (R., Findlay), who served 26 years in Congress and wrote legislation to crack down on financial fraud while building a reputation as a staunch friend of big business, died Friday at his home in McLean, Va., after a long struggle with cancer. He was 71.
