Levy politics

Lucas County commissioners blew it when they voted unanimously last week to place a whopping five countywide property tax levies on the Nov. 8 ballot. The commissioners, and the advisory panel they set up to review county levy requests, must be drinking too much of their own Kool-Aid if they think the mood of the country, or the county, is a desire to vote for more and more taxes.
