Legend Arnold Palmer helped bring golf to the masses

PITTSBURGH — Arnold Palmer, who is often credited with transforming golf from a rather snooty, country club, rich man’s game into a sport with mass appeal, died Sunday in UPMC Shadyside in Pittsburgh.
