Learn about Islam

The Islamic Center of Greater Toledo will offer a free class, open to the public, called "Islam 101" beginning at 8 p.m. Jan. 20 at the mosque, 25877 Scheider Rd., Perrysburg Township, and meeting the third Wednesday of every month through May. It will be taught by the Islamic Center's imam, Talal Eid, who has a doctorate in theology from Harvard University and a degree in Islamic law and sciences from Al-Azhar University in Cairo.
