Lawmakers jump in races for statewide seats

COLUMBUS — It’s still a year away, but the 2018 election season heated up Wednesday as state Sen. Joe Schiavoni (D., Boardman) announced his run for governor and state Rep. Dorothy Pelanda (R., Marysville) said she’ll run for secretary of state.
