Judge to decide on hotel rape, overdose case

Lucas County Common Pleas Judge Ian English will determine later this week whether a Toledo man is guilty of raping a woman after she lost consciousness - and later overdosed on heroin - at an Alexis Road motel last year. Prosecutors and the defense rested their cases Wednesday in the three-day bench trial of Anthony E. Davis, 34, of the 3500 block of Homewood Avenue.
