Judge OKs medical expert for defense

MONROE — Acknowledging that the cause and manner of Chelsea Bruck’s death will be critical in the trial of a Frenchtown Township man charged with her murder, a Monroe County judge Friday approved a defense attorney's request to hire his own medical expert.
