Inmate dies following hanging

A man serving a life sentence for a 2010 murder of a University of Toledo student has died five days after a hanging incident in his prison cell, authorities said. Lawrence Fitzgerald James, 30, was pronounced dead Wednesday at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center, according to the Lucas County Coroner's Office.
