'Holiday' a boon for local shoppers

The back-to-school section at the Target store on Monroe Street in Sylvania Township was buzzing with activity Friday afternoon as Lisa Seyer and her two sons, Isaac, 12, and Logan, 10, maneuvered their way carefully through a maze of carts and other shoppers in order to fill their list of desired school supplies. Their reward for venturing out to several busy stores was some money saved - the benefit of Ohio's second annual sales-tax holiday, which began Friday and runs through Sunday night.
