Hall of Fame icing on cake for Ramsay

In the late 1950s, a minor league goaltender named Glenn Ramsay was the property of the NHL’s powerful Montreal Canadiens. When the lower-level season was over, Ramsay was called up by the Habs a couple years to work as a practice goalie during the Stanley Cup playoffs, serving as “the shooting gallery,” as he put it, for the likes of Boom-Boom Geoffrion, Rocket Richard, Jean Beliveau and so many other greats.
