Groups challenging Palisades restart are denied request for hearing

COVERT, Mich. — Two groups challenging the historic restart effort of the Palisades nuclear plant in southwest Michigan have had their requests for hearings denied by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission’s Atomic Safety and Licensing Board in Rockville, Md.
