Grass carp’s spread raises level of concern

Grass carp, one of the four species of invasive Asian carp, are present in Lake Erie as well as in Lakes Ontario and Michigan, in significant enough numbers that they are a source of elevated concern for biologists who have been closely monitoring those waters.
