Gov. Kasich vetoes cuts to Medicaid expansion

COLUMBUS — Gov. John Kasich wielded his line-item veto pen shortly before midnight Friday to strike an attempted legislative blow to Ohio’s Medicaid expansion program that he has defended on state and federal fronts.
