Gov. DeWine names Husted to Senate to replace JD Vance

COLUMBUS — Lt. Gov. Jon Husted on Friday opted for the bird in hand instead of the bird in the bush as he accepted appointment to the U.S. Senate seat vacated last week by Vice President-Elect J.D. Vance.
