Golf cart fees are reasonable

An Ottawa County judge has dismissed fines against a Put-in-Bay golf cart rental business, throwing out the $50 fee the village imposes for each rental cart — even though an appeals court for Ottawa County has already rejected the same complaint. He should have left it alone, or at least let the complaining party appeal it to the higher courts.
