The BFG (big friendly giant), Roald Dahl 1982 children’s story adapted to the big screen, is a BFD (big film deal), if for no reason other than it reunites the E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial creative partnership of screenwriter Melissa Mathison and filmmaker Steven Spielberg.
