Former UT vice president out at Akron after 1 year

A former University of Toledo vice president who left last year to follow UT's provost to the University of Akron will leave the post, the most recent administrative shakeup at the university in northeastern Ohio. Lawrence Burns, UT's former vice president for external affairs, was placed on a one-month paid administrative leave Wednesday after Akron's board of trustees met in executive session.
