Former Justice Dept. officials oppose Ohio voter purging process

COLUMBUS — A group of former U.S. Department of Justice officials who served in both Republican and Democratic administrations has filed a brief with the U.S. Supreme Court to counter the Trump administration’s recent about-face in support of Ohio’s practice of purging voters from registration rolls.
