Fewer people died in motorcycle crashes in '17

Motorcyclist fatalities declined by 5.6 percent during 2017 nationwide, and by even greater percentages in Ohio and Michigan, but motorcyclists still die at a much higher rate than occupants of enclosed vehicles, according to a report issued Wednesday by a group representing state highway-safety offices.
