Fentanyl killed more in area than heroin in 2016

Fentanyl overdoses killed more people in northwest Ohio than heroin in 2016, according to numbers released Friday by the Lucas County Coroner’s Office, marking the first time the powerful synthetic caused the most overdose deaths.
