Fall migration could bring bird flu to Ohio

The wave of bird flu that crashed upon the U.S. poultry industry earlier this year infected 211 flocks in 21 states and forced the destruction of 48 million chickens and turkeys. It was the single worst animal disease crisis in the country’s history, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
