Expand children’s worldview with books

Beginning in 2006 the U.S. Board on Books for Young People began selecting an honor list of international books for young people, which is published each year in the February issue of School Library Journal. The selection committee is charged with selecting international books that are deemed most outstanding of those published or released in the United States during the calendar year.
