Estranged husband guilty of murder

PORT CLINTON — Nearly three years after Amy Ross was shot to death in front of her sister and her niece, her husband was convicted Thursday by a jury in Ottawa County Common Pleas Court and sentenced by Judge Bruce Winters to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
