Edward C. Sobczak (1924-2016)

Edward C. Sobczak, a retired Toledo police captain who was in the top ranks of the police academy and taught trainees the value of restraint and outreach, died Oct. 5 in Mary’s Woods retirement community, Lake Oswego, Ore. He was 92.
