‘Dumping’ ruling backs Whirlpool

The U.S. Department of Commerce on Friday issued a final determination stating that large residential washing machines imported from China were “dumped” on the U.S. consumer market at below fair value, hurting Whirlpool Corp. and workers at its Clyde, Ohio, plant.
