Dr. Hector Ramirez (1939-2015): Surgeon volunteered in native Guatemala

Dr. Hector Ramirez, a vascular surgeon who helped found a non-profit agency to offer health care and education in his native Guatemala, died Dec. 4 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg Township. He was 76. He'd suffered a brain bleed, his daughters Ana and Lisa said.
