Democrats blast Portman’s stance

Three prominent Toledo-area Democrats criticized Ohio U.S. Sen. Rob Portman and two other Republicans Tuesday for blocking efforts to confirm President Obama’s nomination of federal appeals judge Merrick Garland for the Supreme Court.
