Council falls short in changing law for kill

A divided Toledo City Council narrowly failed to approve a proposal Tuesday that would allow the Metroparks of the Toledo Area to conduct deer kills in Swan Creek Preserve Metropark in South Toledo and Middlegrounds Metropark near downtown.
