Come 'Hug a Pup' at Sylvania coffee shop

Assistance Dogs for Achieving Independence, a program of the Ability Center of Greater Toledo, will host a "Hug a Pup" puppy socialization event from 9 to 11 a.m. at Biggby Coffee, 5577 Monroe St. Several of the organization's dogs from the Puppy Smart Start Program will be on hand for visitors to interact with and help socialize the pups.
