Clarence D. 'Doc' Pawlicki (1927-2016): O-I executive became Ohio development director

Clarence D. “Doc” Pawlicki, a longtime Owens-Illinois Inc. executive and Toledo native who as Ohio development director in the late 1980s told a hometown audience of business leaders that without clear goals, the city would miss out on its share of state help, died March 13 in his Palm City, Fla., home. He was 88.
