City Council to honor Beier

Mark Beier, the longtime radio play-by-play voice of Toledo Rockets football and men’s basketball who announced his retirement in March, will be honored by the Toledo City Council at 4 p.m. on Tuesday. The council will present a resolution recognizing his contributions to UT in his 21 years as the “Voice of the Rockets.”
