Brown, Renacci trade barbs during sometimes heated debate

CLEVELAND — Ohio’s two U.S. Senate candidates used their first debate to rip into each other’s record in Washington, with incumbent Democrat Sherrod Brown accusing his opponent, Republican Jim Renacci, of walking in-step with the President and Mr. Renacci repeating the claim that Mr. Brown is an entrenched career politician.
