Bowsher grad gets diploma, handshake

Marlon Lakeith Johnson, Jr., accepts his diploma and a hand-shake from Bowsher grad Christine Varwig, vice president of the Toledo Board of Education, during Bowsher High’s commencement ceremony. Bowsher graduated 234 students Thursday, and the district estimated 1,024 total students graduated from Toledo Public Schools this spring. The final two graduation ceremonies will be Waite’s and Woodward’s, both of which will be held today.
