Bowling event to strike to help ‘pit-bull’ rescue

Pins for Pups on Saturday will aid the Lucas County Pit Crew. The bowling event is set from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the Timbers Bowling Lanes, 1246 Conant St. in Maumee. Admission is $20 per person and includes three games, bowling shoes, pizza, and snacks. A cash bar will be available, and other activities include a raffle and silent auction. All proceeds help the foster-based “pit bull” dog rescue.
