■ Lake Erie: The yellow perch fishing continues to be hot in many locales around the western end of the lake. Anglers seek out water not heavily impacted by the algal bloom and often find fish. The pros at Netcraft report that the Michigan waters north of the River Raisin have been very productive for anglers working in 18-24 foot depths.
