Blade executive editor Franck made interim general manager

Kurt Franck, executive editor of The Blade, has been given the additional duties and the title of executive vice president and general manager of the business operations of the newspaper on an interim basis, effective today. The change was announced today by Allan Block, chairman of Block Communications Inc.
