Before you rant, work on the chant

One of the many outcomes of the presidential election — some good, some not so much — is the return of vigorous public speech. The good old political protest rally. Once again, after far too long an absence, vocal dissent is back in style, expressed on hurriedly painted signs and shouted by angry masses of indignant citizens.
