Battle between birds, blades likely to continue along lake

PORT CLINTON — The long-running high stakes clash between advocates for migratory birds and bald eagles, and those individuals and organizations pushing the wind industry along Lake Erie, took a significant turn recently when the plans to bring a 198-foot high turbine to the Camp Perry Ohio Air National Guard installation were thrown back on the shelf.
