Ashford, Fedor square off in primary for Ohio Senate seat
There has been relatively little of that in the wide-open, Democratic Party showdown for the Ohio Senate District 11 seat being vacated by term-limited Sen. Edna Brown , even though the contest has become one of the May 8 primary election's most-watched races. Perhaps it's because the two candidates - - state Rep. Michael Ashford and state Rep. Teresa Fedor - have been longtime office-holders, have respect for one another, and espouse similar Democratic Party ideals.
