Area biologists gather to band osprey chicks

ROCKWOOD, Mich. — At Pointe Mouillee State Game Area, wildlife biologists are used to communing with nature, but they were still excited Tuesday morning when they gathered in the middle of the marsh to “band” four two-week-old osprey chicks.
