2 Toledoans charged with drug conspiracy

Twenty-five years ago, Gary R. Hill was indicted as the ringleader of an effort that brought large quantities of cocaine from Florida to Toledo. Hill would elude authorities for five years before eventually being arrested in Detroit and, in 1997, pleading guilty in U.S. District Court to conspiracy to distribute cocaine and tax evasion.
