2 Toledo men charged with hate crime

Two Toledo men accused of assaulting a North Toledo man and using racial slurs were charged today in U.S. District Court with violating the federal Hate Crime Act. Charles Butler, Jr., 33, and Robert Paschalis, 25, who both list an address in the 1000 block of North Michigan Street, are scheduled to make an initial appearance in federal court this afternoon.
