100 memorable years at UT

The University of Toledo played its first men’s basketball game a century ago on Jan. 4, 1916. The Munis, as they were likely called back then, lost at Akron 17-8. We can’t tell you much about it. The names of the players have pretty much been lost to time. The coach, if there was one, is listed as “unknown” in the UT media guide.
