Tennessee put $40M cash on the line to seal recruitment of LG Chem's $3.2B electric vehicle battery plant

LG Chem, headquartered in South Korea, formally announced its plans on Nov. 21 to open a $3.2 billion factory operation in Clarksville — the single largest business investment ever in Tennessee by a foreign company.
