As Costco taps former AI executive as its new board member

As Costco Wholesale takes steps to improve its online offerings, the company has tapped a technology executive as its next member of its board of directors.Costco (Nasdaq: COST) announced Tuesday that Kenneth Denman will be the newest addition to the company's board of directors. Most recently, Denman was CEO of Emotient, which built an artificial-intelligence based platform for measuring facial expressions to predict emotions. Emotient Inc. was acquired by Apple in January 2016.Denman has also&
