Southern University Homecoming queen to reign over activities

Corinne S. Vaughn, a senior majoring in political science from Stockton, California, was crowned as Miss Southern University during coronation ceremonies Wednesday at the F.G. Clark Activity Center. Vaughn, who was elected the campus queen during student elections in the spring, will reign over the 2016 Homecoming activities, including Saturday's parade which gets started at 8 a.m. SU's Jaguars take on the Golden Lions from the University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff in A.W. Mumford Stadium at 4 p.m.
